For over a decade DAS has steadfastly served the Work-At-Height sector of Hong Kong & China. Our extended experience in Work-At-Height operations, training and consultancy has led us to be chosen as the official training provider for the High Angle Rescue Team (HART) of the Hong Kong Fire Services Department.

Our training centre - DAS DEPOT is the first and only IRATA Approved Training Centre in Hong Kong. It was designed by IRATA Trainer & Assessor and was purposely built for conducting rope access, rescue and work at height safety training programmes.

HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
Dimensions Access Services Company Limited (DAS) has been audited by IRATA International as part of their accreditation system to ensure that our safety management systems and procedures comply with the highest standards.
DAS aims to carry out all work in a safe manner in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (UK), Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance Cap.509 (HK), and any other relevant local legislations in the places we operate. Safe working practices and quality are not negotiable with DAS. All work carried out is performed to specification, using systematic Risk Assessment and job/site-specific Method Statements. This is our standard procedure to prepare such Risk Assessment and Method Statements for all operations and training programs in order to ensure that all operatives / trainers have a full understanding of the duties to be carried out and the precautions needed. Assessment of public protection requirements is undertaken as a part of the procedure. All personnel who get involved in any part of projects / training are fully inducted in all health and safety arrangements.
All DAS members of technical staff are trained to the highest standards and are qualified in accordance with the IRATA requirements. DAS appoints IRATA L3 as safety supervisors / trainers for all operational projects and training courses. Their responsibility is to ensure health and safety, and completion of all projects and training courses in a high quality manner.
DAS uses equipment conforms to CE standards. All rope access, work at height safety equipment is subjected to a thorough examination at regular basis in accordance with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations, UK) by a nominated competent person. All equipment is well maintained and is traceable to documented records.
All accidents, incidents and near misses are to be reported, recorded and reviewed both on site and to DAS Health and Safety Manager without delay. Processes can then be put into action to minimize the reoccurrence of such acts.
DAS Director and Health and Safety Manager have the responsibility to carry out inspections and reviews of our health and safety standards regularly (12 months) or sooner if work activity changes.
